1. Who we are

We are Gritty Minds, a company based in Denmark. We operate the website www.grittyminds.com, where we offer services, content, and bookings.

Gritty Minds is the data controller responsible for how your personal information is handled when you use this site. If you have questions about this policy or how we use your data, you can contact us at aj@grittyminds.com or by phone on +45 5199 3050.

2. What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact Forms and Bookings
When you fill out a contact form or booking form, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email address, company name and message. We use this information to respond to your enquiry or provide the service you requested.

Comments
If you leave a comment on our website, we collect the content of your comment along with technical details like your IP address and browser information. This helps us detect and prevent spam.

Payments
At the moment, we invoice clients directly and do not process payments through the website. If we introduce a payment system in future, this policy will be updated and we’ll ensure your payment data is handled securely.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are used to store small pieces of information. The cookies are stored on your device when the website is loaded on your browser. These cookies help make this website function properly, make the website more secure, provide a better user experience, and understand how the website performs and analyse what works and where it needs improvement.

We use essential cookies to keep our site working and secure. Optional cookies (like analytics cookies) are only used if you agree. You can manage your preferences in your browser or via our cookie settings. The first-party cookies are mostly necessary for the website to function the right way, and they do not collect any of your personally identifiable data. The third-party cookies used on this website are used mainly for understanding how the website performs, how you interact with the website, keeping services secure, and all in all providing you with a better and improved user experience and help speed up your future interactions with the website.

Analytics

We use website analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site. This helps us improve performance, user experience, and content. The data collected is general (e.g. page views, time spent on site) and does not directly identify you. We only run analytics tools if you’ve accepted them in our cookie settings.

Embedded content

Some pages may include content from other websites — like YouTube videos or social media posts. These third-party sites may collect data about your activity if you view or interact with that content. Their data policies apply in those cases, not ours.

3. How long we retain your data

If you send us a message or enquiry through a form, we keep the information only for as long as we need to respond — usually no longer than one year.

If you leave a comment on the website, that comment and its related information may be stored indefinitely, so we can recognise and approve future comments automatically.

If you are a client, we are required by Danish law to retain billing and service records for at least five years after our work with you has ended.

We do not currently offer user accounts on our website. If this changes in the future, users will be able to view, update, or delete their profile information.

4. Who we share your data with

We don’t sell your personal data or share it with advertisers. We may share it with trusted third parties who help us operate our website and services. These include providers of hosting, email, analytics tools, and (in future) payment systems.

If any of these providers are based outside the EU or EEA, we take steps to ensure that your data is protected, such as using standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

5. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have several rights in relation to your personal data. You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, request that we correct or delete it, or object to how we use it.

If we’re processing your data based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

To make any of these requests, just contact us at aj@grittyminds.com.
If you’re not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can contact the Danish Data Protection Agency at
www.datatilsynet.dk/

6. How we keep your date safe

We take the security of your personal data seriously. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — such as secure servers and limited access — to keep your information safe.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, technology, or how we run our services. If we make significant changes, we’ll let you know. The date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last updated.
